“Don’t just be yourself, be your weird self.”
In case you didn’t know I am a huge fan of commencement speeches, so this time of year is always particularly exciting for me because a whole new batch of speeches are delivered, and subsequently posted to Youtube. This year’s commencement speaker at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota was Chris Sacca, the prolific early stage investor and company advisor. It was refreshing to hear Sacca focus his speech on rebooting, being happy, helping others, and maybe most importantly being your weird self.
I encourage everyone to set aside 30 minutes and listen to the speech.
